D2C X was founded in September 2013 with the desire to share everything that makes Japan so special with the world and have the world fall in love with Japan.
Japan is among the world’s leading countries in terms of safety, cleanliness, and ease of living. Not only has Japan shown the world countless innovative products and technologies, but it boasts significant soft power due to its distinctive traditional and pop cultures. These are the things that make Japan so special, and we want the world to know about them and start talking positively about Japan.
Whenever I see people overseas adopt elements of Japanese culture, I am always filled with joy.
With these ideas as our foundation, we discover Japanese companies, organizations, and people with something excellent to share, and connect them with the wider world. In Japanese, the word “tsunagu” means “to connect,” and that is exactly what we do. As we widen our circle more and more, we hope to become the top platform serving as a bridge between Japan and the world.
